Special Populations in Corrections
Courses in this section are designed to help correctional staff manage and supervise offenders who present special characteristics and needs. These types of populations’ present unique management issues including gender responsive, geriatric, transgender, mental health and medical. These courses are appropriate for all staff that may come into contact with or are responsible for the supervision of these types of offenders.
